This 6-mile bike tour will explore the vast network of transportation and logistics infrastructure that circulates goods and materials through and around Newtown Creek. We’ll take advantage of calmer Sunday traffic to traverse truck routes through industrial Maspeth, with stopping points to talk about maritime infrastructure, railroad crossings, and the “last-mile” megawarehouses popping up around the Creek.
