Join us for City of Water Day at Plank Road Public Shoreline for a stewardship event! Plank Road is a unique street end site in Maspeth, Queens, that we have been working to restore for both wildlife and local workers/residents alike. This event will include: Landscaping the existing vegetation and paths; Trash cleanup along the upper shoreline; Solarizing ground to prepare for native plant restoration; and Removing specific invasive plant species, like knotweed.
