Please join us November 28th for our ten-year anniversary at Newtown Creek Alliance. Whether you are a new supporter, or if you were there at the very beginning, we want to share this moment with you to celebrate the distance we have come, and recognize the work we have ahead.
At this meeting, we will be recognizing Bernie Ente with a posthumous award for his work on Newtown Creek. Bernie served as a photographer, historian, educator and mediator, and he is greatly missed at NCA. Bernie laid the foundation for creating a visual record of Newtown Creek, and inspired us see the creek in a new light. So come join us in raising a glass in his honor.
