We are proud to announce that on April 18th, NCA Historian Mitch Waxman will be leading a 100% free tour. The tour will start in Long Island City and end in Greenpoint, and visit a number of public access points along the Newtown Creek. Learn about the rich history and ongoing activity along this infamous waterway. The walk will be about 2 hours in length, and will cross the Pulaski Bridge via its stairways.

Meetup at 47th Road and Center Blvd (see map here), nearby the East River Ferry stop, in LIC at 10:30 a.m. Be prepared for rough terrain and possible heavy truck traffic. Dress and pack appropriately for hiking and weather. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.

The tour is being offered for free, but participants must reserve a ticket. Space is limited, get your ticket now!
