Newtown Creek Alliance will presenting our Weather in the Watershed programming at the Greenpoint Public Library (107 Norman Avenue, BK NY 11222) on Saturday March 14th as part of a larger tree giveaway event. The schedule is below, see you there!

Family fun and educational activities, including:<
– “Sewer in a Suitcase” demonstration by the Newtown Creek Alliance, showing kids and adults the hidden workings of Greenpoint’s water infrastructure by following the journey water takes beyond the drain.
– Kids craft activities, including make-your-own field guide to identifying NYC trees and family tree craft making
– Information from local green organizations and community groups
