NCA is partnering with the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse, and the Queens Public Library to celebrate City of Water Day on July 15! NCA and NBCB will be with HPPC at the kayak launch in Hunters Point South Park (here’s a map) from 12-4pm for free community boating, a marine life exploration table highlighting animals and other life found in the Creek, and info about the park’s restored wetlands! You can also learn about our local waters at a great education program for kids and adults at the Hunters Point Branch of the Queens Public Library from 12-2pm to connect with both the Creek and the East River.
