What does my donation support?
Your gift today will immediately be put to work supporting NCA’s core programming across the watershed, including:
– Educating thousands of NYC students each year via place-based field trips on the Creek
– Bringing the community to the water’s edge through tours and workshops
– Advancing pollinator habitats, tree canopy, and green infrastructure in overburdened industrial areas
– Advocating for the long-term cleanup of historic toxins in the Creek and along contaminated upland areas
– Transforming the water’s edge through public access planning and shoreline restoration projects
– Water quality sampling and patrolling the Creek for environmental violations
