Recovered Landscapes: Newtown Creek

NCA is proud to partner with Queens based painter John Kitses on his Recovered Landscapes: Newtown Creek project. The project includes a number of large and small scale watercolor paintings, as well as ink-jet reproductions, created to raise awareness of the revival of Newtown Creek and appreciation of its beauty. The project will culminate with a gallery opening in Long Island City scheduled on October 17th, 2019 (details below). A percentage of sales income will be donated to help support NCA and our mission to Reveal, Restore and Revitalize Newtown Creek.
