The Fairy Rings: Gathering Series is coordinated by artist Jan Mun in partnership with Newtown Creek Alliance. The series engages visiting environmental experts in conversation with local stewards focused on Soil, Water, and Air, in the context of Newtown Creek and its surrounding area.
Our final event is focused on SOIL and will feature Nance Klehm, founder of Social Ecologies based in Chicago, who will discuss soil restoration, remediation, and community-focused regenerative soils and water systems. Nance is internationally respected for her work on land politics and soil heath.
