Join Newtown Creek Alliance and Billion Oyster Project for a fun, hands-on series building marine habitat for oysters, mussels, and other marine wildlife.
Using a unique blend of ECOncrete and specially designed molds, we will get our hands dirty to make a number of marine disks that will provide habitat for filter feeders to attach to and grow, acting as reef-like structures. All materials will be provided; we ask that volunteers also wear masks (provided) when handling concrete. Full details and register here.
