Join NCA for a guided walking tour of Bushwick’s waterway: Newtown Creek. The walk will focus on the upper tributaries of Newtown Creek, English Kills and East Branch, and highlight environmental issues such as superfund contamination and combined sewer overflow, as well as the current lack of public access and opportunities for reconnecting the community back to this recovering waterbody.
Help take care of the Paidge Avenue Pollinator Pathway. These native plants provide an attractive habitat for the local ecosystems and provide opportunities for the community to come together to celebrate, support, and learn about urban ecology.
